FUTO 2024/2025 Post UTME Requirements for Registration
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Federal University of Technology Owerri, undergraduate programs for the 2024/2025 academic session.
Only students who choose the Federal University of Technology Owerri as their first choice in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and score the required JAMB cut-off mark for the Federal University of Technology Owerri are eligible to apply for admission. FUTO cut-off mark for admission into the institution is 180.
Those who did not choose FUTO as their first choice University but scored a minimum of 180 can also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB website for a change of Institution.
In addition, candidates must obtain at least FIVE CREDIT passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings. However, credit in Mathematics is not compulsory for all courses offered in FUTO.

How to Apply for FUTO Post UTME Form 2024/2025
- Visit the University website at www.futo.edu.ng
- Click on “Prospective students”
- Click on either “POST-UTME or Direct Entry Application”.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number to generate a Payment Invoice containing the Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR).
- Proceed to any Bank with the payment invoice OR simply pay with your ATM Card.
- Return to the Application page and enter your JAMB Registration number again.
- Proceed with the completion of the form.
- Correctly enter your O’Level results (where available).
- Confirm your entries.
- Submit your application.
- Print out your acknowledgment slip.
- Await further communication from the school.
Candidates who successfully complete the above-stated registration process will be allowed access to a link through which they can upload their O’Level credentials (where available) for screening.
