Federal University Dutsinma Postgraduate Admission Requirement
Candidates for admission into any postgraduate diploma programme must have obtained:
- 5 credits at not more than two sittings in WASC, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB including English Language.
- Candidates should also possess the minimum entry requirements for admission into the first degree and postgraduate diploma programmes in their areas of interest for postgraduate studies.
- At least 3rd class degree in a related field.
- A minimum of upper credit level pass at HND or its equivalent in relevant areas (for programmes in relevant Faculties qualifications such as AIB, ACCA, ACMA, ICAN, BEEC, CPA, etc. may also be considered for admission.
Candidates for admission into any professional Master’s programme must have obtained:
- 5 credits at not more than two sittings in WASC, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB including English Language.
- An undergraduate degree in any discipline with a minimum grade of Second-Class Lower Division or a Postgraduate Diploma from a recognized institution of higher learning.
Candidates for admission into any Ph.D. programmes must have obtained:
- A Master’s (MSc) Degree in a relevant field with a minimum grade not less than 60% (B) from a recognized institution of higher learning.
- Candidates for admission into any MSc programme must have obtained:
- 5 credits at not more than two sittings in WASC, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB including English Language.
- An undergraduate degree in any discipline with a minimum grade of Second-Class Lower Division.
